Optimization of demand-responsive transport: The rolling horizon approach

Demand-responsive Transport (DRT) is a popular topic in the field of transportation. The rolling horizon approach can be used to achieve an efficient operation DRT system context trip pre-booking. In this study, optimizer implemented and agent-based transport simulation framework. A series experiments are performed study performance approach. results provide general guidelines on how set up for system. With suitable setup, demonstrates clear advantage over other approaches available
